Leonard & Dagmar Weston

In 1980, whilst working as a factory manager in Cape Town, Leonard responded to the call of fulltime ministry. After studying & pastoring in the USA for 8 years, Len & Dagmar began their roles as senior pastors in Piet Retief, South Africa in January 1989. Relationships have been a cornerstone for them as they realise the importance that one cannot stand alone. So throughout Africa, America, England & Germany they have developed relationships with various ministries & on a regular basis meet with Apostolic leaders in Southern Africa. This has opened many doors: for the past fourteen years Leonard has been Chairman of Lighthouse Swaziland & also chairs Metro Ministries Africa. The Lord has led Len & Dagmar to lead this Body into a practical Kingdom-minded ministry, which touches many spheres of influence in Africa.

Derick & Anne Slabbert

Derick responded to the call of God after spending 15 years in the private business sector. In 1998, when invited to join the leadership of Wellspring Ministries, the walk started by leading & developing Maranatha School, overseeing the ministry administration & leading the worship ministry. From these early days, the call has grown into establishing the social outreach ministry of Uzwelo Home & UROC as well as the training & equipping ministry of CPR Institute Africa. The focus of the call is now in CPR Africa with the vision of equipping leaders & planting churches in the nations of Africa. Derick is married to Anne, who teaches part-time at Maranatha School, they have three children- Jonathan, Benjamin & Emily.

Sheldon & Christen Hallis

Sheldon felt a calling into fulltime ministry whilst still in High School, this calling was realized in 1998 when he joined Wellspring Ministries. Sheldon’s heart has always been for teenagers & has a passion  to see them grow & reach their full potential in Christ. Sheldon met Christen whilst she was here with a YWAM DTS group in April 2000, they married at the end of that year. They serve together in the Youth ministry, but right now Christen focuses most of her time on raising their three children.

Francois & Christine Mostert

Francois came to know the Lord at the early age of 12 and always had a keen interest in theology and counseling. He served as a missionary for two years before studying social work and starting a career as the program coordinator at an Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Center. It was there that the Lord brought an approach called Theophostic Prayer Ministry across Francois' path. He has been applying these principles for approximately ten years, seeing the Lord setting the captives free as only HE ALONE CAN DO! In 2004, Wellspring employed Francois to counsel & equip the local Body and the Kingdom of God throughout Africa and beyond, in these one-on-one prayer ministry principles that lead to mind renewal and consequent emotional wholeness and peace.

Let the one who serves serve in the strength which God supplies that in everything God may get the glory through Jesus Christ.
